If you wish to refer someone, you will be asked to confirm their suitability for our service and that they understand what we can offer. London Housing Associates requires a chronology of events, pathway plan, risk assessment and an up-to-date profile in order to thoroughly assess risks and provide a complete client focussed and safe support package.
You must complete a referral form.
You must provide the relevant supporting evidence.
You must confirm that the applicant has an actual or potential need for support
Our site accommodates young people that are making the transition from residential or foster care to semi-independence. We consider all young people from different backgrounds regardless of their history or circumstances. A risk and needs assessment is completed for every young person referred to the service.
We would consider emergency placements at the service, but this would follow the same admissions procedure. We would not consider referrals for young people where we could not meet needs effectively.
Compatibility for young people sharing would be an important consideration when looking at referrals and young people would be involved in the process where possible.
You can make a referral via email using the referral form.

Once a referral has been submitted within 24 to 48 hours a member of the team will review the form to see if the criteria have been met and or the form completed fully.
They will provide you with feedback or request additional information where necessary.
Once complete the individual will be offered a face to face assessment.
If they accept the offer, they will then be assisted with paperwork and move in.
Individuals are required to move in immediately after signing a tenancy and or receiving their keys.
If the assessment indicates that they are unlikely to engage or if they decline the offer made by London housing associates, this will be noted and communicated back to the referrer.
Our offers are made on a first come first serve basis.
